The School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Potter stopped by the shop this week.  Harry Potter that is.  I had a custom request from a lovely customer for a Harry Potter set including Hagrid, Snape, Voldemort, McGonagall, Dumbledore, Hermoine, Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy.  I just love how they turned out so they are now apart of the Knottingwood family

Raggedy Ann and Andy also stopped by. 

I have quite a few project ideas on the table and in my head.  Each weekend I've been taking time to create new items to keep the shop fresh.  M-F is dedicated to custom orders.  I like the new work schedule as it gives me a chance to get creative and keep me out of a rut.

The husband and I are enjoying a nice holiday weekend hope you are too!  Oh and I made my first loaf of bread in the bread maker this week.  Came out fab!  I'll share some soon!

Re-Branding

It could be suicide but I've changed my business name from The Pretty Pixie to Knottingwood.  I wanted something that represented what I do.  The Pretty Pixie just wasn't me.  I chose Knottingwood because it reminds me of imagination and creativity.  A magical place where any dream you have can come to life.  It's a perfect fit.  My goal is bring your imagination to life, from whimsical play sets to fairytale wedding cake toppers.   Now my little cottage business feels right.

With the new name comes a new shop logo..........

I have a ton of new product ideas I will begin rolling out in time for quick delivery for the holidays.  My latest is Eleanor's play house  a 6 piece play set complete with trees!

Sizing Guide

I thought I would do a quick post on the sizing difference for my dolls.  It's often hard to imagine in your mind the difference between a 3 1/2" doll compared to a 2" doll.  So I give you the sizing guide.......

Introducing.....

Hello friends!

I'm so busy I can hardly take a minute to breathe.  I have a goal of  blogging more but with so many orders (thank you brides!) it's hard to find the time.  Even as I type now I should be painting but a girl needs a break!  Can you believe I'm still finishing orders for June!  Yikes.  I will have the last of June done tomorrow.  Luckily it's just the tiny details to finish, photo shoot for the brides to be.  I cross my fingers they like them and off they go in the mail.

On another note in between painting customs I slipped in 2 new toppers!  One is for the semi customs/ready to ship that I want to start offering and the other is a cute non little people type.  Without further ado......

Custom Cuteness

Hello Dear Reader,

I was recently commissioned to created a wedding cake topper for a lovely couple who's groom is a huge Green Lantern fan.  I just finished them and love how they turned out. I'm happy to reports so did my clients. The groom didn't want the mask but his glasses.  If you are interested I can make him with his green mask instead.
